Detox Symptoms
You may experience some detox symptoms! Don't worry; this is a natural and NECESSARY part of the process! It will pass.
Signs of physical detox:
Bloating: can happen when unhealthy micro-organisms are dying off.
Pain: can happen in old injury sites. This is a good sign and will pass in a few days. This happens when lymphatic congestion is being pulled out of the tissues. This is how the tissues repair themselves! (This is a huge contributing factor to how I got out of chronic pain).
Low energy: It takes a lot of energy to eliminate wastes from the body, repair tissues, and replenish the nervous system. If you're tired, rest! This is your queue that your body is repairing. Please honor your needs! Think about how much babies sleep when they are growing and developing! Your body is working on repairing and eliminating damaged cells and tissues! It's hard WORK!
Bowel Elimination: Better out than in! If you're having more elimination than usual, this is healthy! Your body is trying to rid itself of acidic wastes! These wastes cause inflammation if they aren't eliminated.
Frequent Urination: Your kidneys and urinary system are the main elimination pathways for all cellular wastes! We're supporting your kidneys and cleaning up your lymphatic system, and your body is letting go of what is no longer serving! Stay hydrated!
Signs of emotional detox:
Emotions get stored in our tissues at the cellular level. When you get your tissues alkaline with the superfoods, your body not only releases physical wastes but suppressed emotions as well!
You may feel heightened sensory awareness, gratitude, grief, sadness, anger, or irritability. This is just your body letting go. Allow these feelings to come to the surface to be released! Imagine that your emotions are like clouds passing in the sky.

Anxiety can happen when our adrenal glands and our nervous systems are resetting. Again, this is a good sign and will pass in a few days. During detoxification, all of our weaknesses come to the surface to be addressed! My favorite nervous system and adrenal support are kids in focus and Bee energetic!
One of my favorite Hawaiian Prayers, Ho'oponopono: "I forgive you, I love you, I'm sorry, I thank you. I forgive myself, I love myself, I'm sorry, I thank myself." You can repeat this internally, say it out loud, or look yourself in the eyes and speak in front of a mirror! 💓 💓 💓
Tips for detox:
Take a sauna
Cold plunge
Take an Epsom salt bath
Read a book
Sleep
Talk to a friend or a therapist if needed
Get free coaching and emotional support here
Make a nourishing meal
Gently move your body through walking, swimming or yoga
Do breathwork such as Wim Hof
Listen to good music
Get sunshine and fresh air
Do something that you love
Write a handwritten letter to someone
Use a dry brush on your skin to get your lymph moving
Get a massage
Use a castor oil pack on your stomach or on any aches and pains
Drink herbal tea and stay hydrated
