Day One: Red

The bright red color in fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, watermelon, red bell peppers, and strawberries, comes from antioxidants like lycopene and anthocyanins. These antioxidants play a crucial role in combating harmful free radicals in the body, reducing inflammation, and supporting heart health. Studies also suggest that the regular consumption of red foods may lower the risk of certain types of cancers, making them a valuable addition to any diet. Try our Cant beet this, Super Xanthon or Apothecherry to get in your daily dose of red hues through such superfoods as; Tart Cherries*, Pomegranates*, Astaxanthin, and Beets*.*Organic Ingredients

Day 1 - Red Foods: Start your day with the powerful antioxidants of red foods. Enjoy a glass of Apothe-Cherry or Super Xanthin to kickstart your morning and support heart health, skin elasticity, and restful sleep. Add a splash of red to your day, plate, and tastebuds! What does the color red make you think of?

“Has there ever been a time in your life when you had a dream that you were too afraid to go for, or you didn't think others would approve of, or you weren't sure if you could do it?

Who am I to…?

And then you were left wondering, well, “What if,” I dared to go for it?

I’m starting the color pop challenge today to add more color, play, and vibrancy into my life.

Today’s color is RED

When I think of red, I think of BOLD, AUDACIOUS, WILLING TO BE SEEN, UNAPOLOGETIC, LUSCIOUS, HIBISCOUS FLOWER 🌺, CHARGING…

So, what's the worst that can happen when you jump before you “feel” ready?

Where in your life are you ready to be seen?

Ready to show up for yourself?

Willing to step out of the approval of others and into your authentic calling?

Is it scary?

YES. 100%

Is “messing up,” failing forward, flailing until you grasp your footing, risking disapproval, and jumping before you’re ready easier than regret? Than denying that dream, curiosity, or intuition that nags at you?

In my book, it is.

Let's be BOLD together and AUDACIOUSLY honest with ourselves today.

I started my day off with my RED Cant Beet This!, Apothecherry, and Super Xanthin for a boost in my creativity and energy!

🔴 Tart cherries 🍒 are rich in antioxidants and melatonin, supporting a healthy inflammatory response. I sleep so well when I add this to my daily and nightly routine!

🔴 Pomegranates are packed with polyphenols, supporting ❤️ health and potentially having anti-cancer properties.

🔴 Astaxanthin is my superhero for recovery after workouts! It’s a potent antioxidant that may protect cells from damage, improve skin elasticity, and support recovery after a day in the ☀️

🔴 Beets are a good source of dietary nitrates, supporting blood flow and circulation, and they contain betaine, which may benefit liver health and digestion. Can’t Beet This! is my go-to for pre-workout and endurance: mentally and physically!

What do you think of when you think of the color red? What are your favorite red foods? Where are you ready to be seen?

Drop a ❤️ to join me in the color pop challenge to add more color, play, and authenticity into your life.

xoxo, Rita”

Day two: Orange and Yellow

The sunny shades of orange and yellow in foods like carrots, sweet potatoes, oranges, and yellow bell peppers signify a wealth of beta-carotene and other carotenoids. These compounds are vital for maintaining healthy vision, supporting the immune system, and promoting skin health. Additionally, the antioxidants found in orange and yellow foods have been linked to a decreased risk of age-related macular degeneration, making them essential for eye health. Try our Carrot Juice Plus and Coco Hydrate Pineapple to get in your daily dose of yellow and orange hues from such superfoods as; Pineapples*, Turmeric Root*, and Carrot Juice*!*Organic Ingredients

Day 2 - Orange and Yellow Foods: Embrace the sunny shades of orange and yellow with Carrot Juice Plus and Coco Hydrate Pineapple. These superfoods will provide essential beta-carotene for healthy vision and immune support. Add a splash of Orange and Yellow to your day, plate, and tastebuds! What do the colors Orange and Yellow make you think of?

Experiencing resentment is a terrible feeling, and I am aware of it because I have personally dealt with it.

At some point in our lives, we all face something that stands between us and our Joy.

There was a time in my life when that thing was unforgiveness. This unforgiveness cost me from developing new memories with someone I love and caused a wedge of separation in our lives.

While I’m a continual work in progress, I re-choose Joy every day, and I remember that purpose is found in times of adversity and that a breakthrough is often succeeded by a breakdown, a falling apart, or a disruption in our lives. A flower blooms after being born in the dark.

In truth, we are the only ones that can block ourselves from finding our joy.

Today's colors are ORANGE and YELLOW. When I think of these colors, the words; Home, Bees, Sunflower, Joy, Sunny, Wild, Zest, Self-worth, and Confidence come to mind.

I started my day with a mixture I like to call “Joy in a Cup.” It’s a mix of coco hydrate and carrot juice plus.

🥕Carrots are a rich source of beta-carotene, which supports healthy vision and promotes strong immune system function.

🥥 Coconut water is rich in cytokines, electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals and may assist in reducing the risk of kidney stones.

🟡 The curcumin in turmeric may have cognitive benefits, potentially supporting brain health and memory function.

Today, as we add more color to our lives, I ask you,

What hurdle stands between you and your Joy?

What has this hurdle cost you?

How will you overcome this hurdle?

Xoxo,

Rita

Health is very simple. We like to overcomplicate it, but in truth, it's simple. But that doesn't make it easy.

My Foundations of Health:

  1. Your inner circle: Surround yourself with people who uplift, inspire and challenge you. Who you spend your time with matters.

  2. Get outside: Catch the sunshine and fresh air and let your nervous system reset. Looking at nature's fractal patterns; greenery, trees, bugs, grass, flowers, lakes, stars, and passing clouds impacts our neural architecture in a way that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and creates a sense of childlike awe and wonder.

  3. Movement: stretch, play, dance, jump rope, play basketball, or flag football. Just get your heart and muscles pumping and the blood circulating.

  4. Nutrition: What you eat makes up the cells, tissues, organs, and glands in your body and impacts your brain health, emotional regulation, and physical vitality. We can't make healthy cells with fake food.

  5. Gratitude/Mindset: I start my day with gratitude – three things I'm thankful for or gratitude for something I'm bringing into my life, speaking as if it’s already happened. Celebrating small wins sparks more to celebrate. A strong mind means a strong life, and that's a daily commitment!

My weakest link on this list is exercise. Even though I know how important it is and how good it makes me feel, I don't prioritize it.

What's your weakest link?

I challenge you to join me. Make your weakest link your priority. Start with a goal so small you can't skip it. For example, move your body for 5 min a day and don't go to sleep til you've ✅ that box off!!

Once you’ve developed the habit pattern, you’ll start to prioritize it and make more time for it.

Baby steps. Let's do it together.

While health is simple, we all need accountability and permission to show up for ourselves so we can show up for our family, purpose, passion, and work in the ways we want to. Health is the foundation for success in every category of our lives!

What baby step are you committed to taking today?

White and Brown Foods:

While they may not be as visually striking as the other colors, white and brown foods like garlic, onions, mushrooms, and cauliflower have their own unique health benefits. They contain allicin, quercetin, and other beneficial compounds that support heart health, regulate blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and provide prebiotics for gut health. Don't underestimate the power of these modest-looking foods to improve your overall well-being.

Day 5 - White and Brown Foods: Appreciate the modest yet powerful benefits of white and brown foods. Incorporate garlic, onions, mushrooms, and cauliflower into your meals for heart health and gut support, and have a cool glass of aloe digest.

Aloe Digest: Aloe Digest is a natural dietary supplement packed with the power of Aloe Vera and other organic ingredients, providing digestive and immune support to ease symptoms and promote a healthier gut.

Conclusion:

Incorporating the full spectrum of colors into our daily diet is not only visually pleasing but also immensely beneficial for our health. Each color offers a distinct set of properties and health benefits, ranging from heart protection to enhanced brain health. By embracing the "eat the rainbow" approach, we provide our bodies with a broad range of nutrients that contribute to overall well-being.

Let's add a splash of color to every day and take in the beauty around us!

Come back to this challenge anytime you need more color in your life, and do it with your friends!
